Xi Chapter Lives On!
Founded in Lancaster, PA, 1921, the Xi Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau has long been a beacon of scholarly excellence and brotherhood.
As we re-establish our presence at Franklin & Marshall, we remain committed to our founding values—intellectual pursuit, civic responsibility, and a strong alumni network. We aim to mentor current students while building a vibrant, future-focused chapter.
On February 28, 2026, Phi Kappa Tau welcomed a new class of brothers—marking a watershed, post-reinstatement era at 605 College Ave., enabled by the combined efforts of alumni, the college, our national organization, and students.
Also, a new alumni leadership group—The 605 Alumni Committee—has been formed to:
• Identify, prioritize, and oversee essential repairs to the property and help fund budgetary shortfalls for the Chapter.
• Inform and recruit fellow brothers from all eras to join the effort.
• Ensure sustained financial support, alumni involvement, mentorship, and governance.

With support from alumni and college leadership, Xi Chapter is embarking on an exciting "new path forward" of leadership, academic excellence, and community engagement. But it all starts with you—the alumni of 605 College Avenue.
